DPRK authorities have called the FBI's allegations of involvement in the theft of more than $6 billion from cryptocurrency exchange Binance unfounded. According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim Yo-jong, head of a department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party, called the American claims "political provocation" and an attempt to smear the country as a "cyber crime state." In the past, US intelligence agencies have accused Pyongyang of hacking the largest crypto platform in history.
