The People's Bank of China will use more than 100 billion yuan ($15.04 billion) to support the stock market through swap deals with financial institutions, Reuters reports. The regulator will use this liquidity tool for the third time amid a fall in the benchmark CSI300 index, which fell 8.5% in October and posted its worst result since early 2016. Requests for funds to purchase shares have already been submitted by 31 companies, including brokers and investment funds.
