Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law approving the agreement with China on the joint construction of the second main track with a diameter of 1435 mm in the border section of the Zabaikalsk-Manchuria railway. According to an expert magazine, the original document was signed in Beijing on May 20, 2026. The law is published on the legal information portal.
