The volume of investments in projects in the Southern Federal District at the end of 2025 increased by 46% from year to year, reaching 582.7 billion rubles, writes RBC. Most of the investments fell on housing construction (106.6 billion rubles) and the energy sector (104.1 billion rubles). Analysts attribute the dynamics to the business interest in locating production of construction materials and special equipment in the south for the development of new territories.
