The Ministry of Economy has proposed to fine pharmaceutical companies for selling drug analogs before the patent on the original drug expires, RBC reports. According to the amendments developed to the administrative code, the amount of the fine for legal entities will be between 50% and 200% of the proceeds from the sale of such funds, and for officials - up to 50 thousand rubles. If the document is approved, the new norms will enter into force on September 1, 2027.
