In the period before the New Year of 2026, the cost of express delivery in Russian cities with a population of over a million may increase by 15% from year to year, to 170 rubles per 1 km, Kommersant writes. The expected increase in the cost of last-mile logistics will exceed the official inflation and is due to the general increase in the cost of road transportation: during the year, the price of fuel increased by 21.4%, and the costs of repairing equipment and spare parts increased by 14% and 16%, respectively.
