The Moscow stock market index grew by 11% at the end of October, added 2% during the week and consolidated above the 2,500 point mark. The Russian market is supported by oil prices exceeding $115 per barrel, but further growth is limited by geopolitical risks and anticipation of the results of the US congressional elections, analysts interviewed by Business FM note. The central bank's official exchange rate on November 2 was set at 80.56 rubles to the dollar, 89.66 rubles to the euro and 12.09 rubles to the yuan.
