The Bank of Russia called an unacceptable situation with the unavailability of MTPL policies in the Arkhangelsk region, where insurance companies refuse to issue drivers or impose additional services worth up to 3,000 rubles. As Business FM reports, the region leads in the unprofitability of car insurance, which is why companies are reluctant to close contracts. The Regional Ministry of Transport approved the submission of requirements to the Central Bank and the Russian Union of Automobile Insurers to impose liability on the insurers.
