The head of the Ministry of Economic Development, Maxim Rashnikov, allowed the supply of Russian gas to Thailand through the Northern Sea Route. As Kommersant writes, at the investment forum in Bangkok, the minister stated that Thailand seeks to diversify its energy imports against the background of the risks in the Persian Gulf. According to him, the Russian side has the necessary ability to organize supplies and is interested in a long-term energy partnership.
