The State Duma proposed to establish one day to link the pension to the index in Russia and introduce a basic increase in payments for all categories of recipients, Izvestia writes. This initiative was taken by the first vice-chairman of the budget and taxes committee, Kaplan Panesh. The deputy also proposed to increase the maximum number of pension points taken into account during the annual calculation for working citizens from three to five. Additional allowances are planned to accumulate on the base amount, taking into account age, disability and length of service.
