The Ministry of Industry and Trade has sent the Ministry of Finance a draft list of metal products subject to excise duty on imports from countries outside the EAEU, Interfax reports. The list includes about 500 HS codes, including pipe products, metal structures, hardware and rolled products. The initiative was prepared taking into account the position of the Russian Steel Union. The ministry emphasized that the new rules will not affect goods produced on the territory of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
