In January-September 2026, real estate investments in hotels in Russia decreased by 61.1% year-on-year, to 21 billion rubles. For three quarters, investors concluded only 14 transactions, Kommersant writes. Analysts attribute the decrease in business activity to the decrease in tourist flows and the increasing competition with daily rental housing, which leads to a decrease in hotel occupancy.
