Egypt plans to expand the Al-Daba nuclear power plant under construction from four to six power units, Rostom CEO Alexey Lychchev said in an interview with Interfax. All four initial blocks are currently being built on the site, employing approximately 26,000 workers. After operation, the station will supply about 10% of the country's energy balance, and will meet the needs of about 20 million people.
