During the nine months of 2026, Roskomandzor opened 329 administrative cases against telecom operators for violations in identifying subscribers and changing numbers, Kommersant writes. This is 26% more than in all of 2025. The total amount of the fines in these cases reached almost 280 million rubles. The companies themselves explain the increase in the number of procedures with a misinterpretation of the results of the automatic verification system and the lack of verification of SMS messages.
