The Bank of Russia plans to tighten the requirements for registering securities to overcome the "crisis of confidence" between investors and issuers, writes RBC. According to the First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank, Vladimir Chistyukhin, the new rules will establish a minimum volume of initial issue of shares: 3 billion rubles for ordinary securities and 2 billion rubles for preferred securities with a company's capital of up to 30 billion rubles. The regulator also called on the Moscow stock exchange to show greater integrity and take tougher decisions in the event of an issuer default.
