In January-September 2026, poultry meat exports from Russia decreased by 28.9% year-on-year, to 223.5 thousand tons, Kommersant writes, citing data from market participants. The overall decrease was due to a decrease in supplies to central buyers: exports to China decreased by almost half, to 60.9 thousand tons, and to Saudi Arabia - 2.7 times, to 22.5 thousand tons. At the same time, imports of poultry meat to the Russian Federation increased by 26.4% and reached 283.9 thousand tons, with 91.2% of the imported products supplied by Belarus and China.
