The chairman of the Fed, Kevin Wersch, said that from 2027 the regulator will reduce the number of meetings where decisions on interest rates are made, writes the New York Times. Next year, out of eight planned meetings, the vote on the rate will take place in only seven, and one will be devoted entirely to monetary strategy. It is expected that in 2028 the number of Yeshiva will be reduced to six.
