The Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region for the first time supported the additional assessment of tariffs on goods from "unfriendly" countries imported through the EAEU, Forbes Russia writes. The authority sided with the Domodedovo customs in a dispute with the management company Latoel, which supplied European cosmetics through Kazakhstan, Armenia and Belarus. The court confirmed that in order to charge higher rates (20% instead of 6.5% for French perfumes) the country of origin, and not the route of transit, is what matters. According to Danoo's lawyers, the precedent may lead to an increase in import prices.
