Natural gas exchange prices in Europe reached 100 euros per MWh for the first time since December 2022, Bloomberg reports. During trading, benchmark Dutch futures quotes rose nearly 4%. The increase in cost is due to interruptions in the supply of liquefied natural gas due to the situation in the Middle East and the expected increase in demand for the winter heating season.
