The European Commission will not lift the ban on the purchase of Russian gas, including supplies via Nord Stream, for the duration of possible peace negotiations in Ukraine, Kommersant writes. According to the representative of the European Union, Paula Pinho, the current legislation will remain in force, but the agency does not rule out the resumption of imports after the end of the conflict.
