Germany's largest taxi operator Münchner-Taxi-Zentrum (MTZ) and US-based Tensor Auto have agreed to launch up to 500 unmanned taxis in German cities, Reuters reports. Tensor will provide autonomous driving technology on a subscription basis, while MTZ will retain control of the fleet and customer data. Within two years, the companies plan to expand the project to other European countries, and increase the fleet of these machines to 10 thousand units.
