The yield on Serbia's dollar-denominated government bonds maturing in 2036 fell 13 basis points to 6.42%, hitting a monthly low, Bloomberg reports. The increase in the prices of debt securities occurred against the background of the victory of the opposition "Student List" over the coalition of former President Aleksandar Vucic in the early parliamentary elections. Investors see the voting results as positive for the market in the short term, expecting reforms from the new administration, steps to fight corruption and increased transparency of the government administration.
