The US Federal Communications Commission has approved Amazon Leo's acquisition of Globalstar operator for $11.57 billion, Reuters reports. The acquisition will allow Amazon to add two dozen Globalstar satellites to its existing constellation of more than 300 satellites. In total, by 2029 the company plans to deploy approximately 3,200 devices in low Earth orbit.
