The Slovak Foreign Minister, George Blenner, proposed Bratislava as a site for preparatory meetings to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, Izvestia writes. According to the minister, the initiative was discussed in Moscow and received a positive assessment from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Earlier, the press minister of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, announced that tripartite negotiations between Russia, the United States and Ukraine on security issues will be held in early November in Abu Dhabi after they reach a peace agreement.
