Saudi Aramco, which traditionally exports 700,000 to 800,000 barrels of oil per day to Europe, has begun offering local buyers additional spot shipments for October and November, Bloomberg reports. October quantities are available at a discount to the official selling price for shipping from Sidi Karir or Yanbu ports. The decision is intended to compensate for a supply shortage caused by the recent temporary shutdown of the company's main export pipeline.
