Kyrgyzstan banned the import of apples from third countries and EAEU countries until February 1, 2027, Kommersant writes. The restriction does not affect the transition and was introduced to support local gardeners in selling the 2026 crop of 179.4 thousand tons. From January to August, 6.4 thousand tons of apples will be imported into the Republic, which is double the figure for 2025.
