Boeing's commercial division posted an operating loss of $697 million on revenue of $10.7 billion in the third quarter, which was worse than analysts' expectations, Bloomberg reports. The aircraft maker's adjusted total loss was 34 cents per share. According to Reuters, the financial results were driven by stagnant aircraft deliveries and high production costs, while profits in the corporation's defense sector rose to nearly $500 million.
