The Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Housing and Community Services of Kalmykia were arrested in the case of accepting bribes in the amount of more than 19 million rubles, Izvestia writes. According to the investigation committee, officials demanded money from the owners of the construction company to guarantee victory in the auction to repair the roofs of apartment buildings, as well as to receive smooth work and continued patronage.
