British Finance Minister John Healy will present a budget with measures to lower the cost of living, writes the Financial Times. The scheme includes incentives for first home buyers and the removal of import duties on more than 100 products, saving consumers £120-180 million a year. At the same time, the authorities intend to maintain fiscal discipline against the backdrop of high energy prices, due to which the income of British families can be reduced by 440-770 pounds a year.
