Germany plans to purchase the first batch of Ukrainian Bares cruise missiles with a range of about 1,000 km for the needs of the Bundeswehr, the Financial Times reports. Technical tests are planned for early 2027, after which the government will consider ordering several hundred units. The missile carries a payload of up to 105 kg and is produced in a joint venture in Germany as part of the Build with Ukraine program to create Ukrainian weapons abroad.
