Foreign exchange sales by Russian exporters in September increased by $4.9 billion compared to August, reaching $23.7 billion, Kommersant writes, citing a survey by Gazprombank. Most of this increase was absorbed by non-financial companies, which increased currency purchases to $17.3 billion. At the same time, sales by the biggest exporters, monitored separately by the central bank, fell to $2.1 billion, the lowest since 2022. In October, the analysts expect an increase in the supply of foreign exchange due to the payment of the quarterly taxes, the scope of which may reach up to a trillion rubles.
