Based on the results of the 2026 admission campaign, the Ministry of Education and Science will tighten the admission requirements for universities with Olympic benefits, Kommersant writes. The head of the department, Valery Falkov, said that the situation where all the budget places in the direction are occupied by the winners of the Olympics "cannot be considered the norm". According to the minister, the universities can determine independently which competitions and which subjects to take into account for registering candidates without entrance exams.
