The share of apartments in the mass sector in new buildings, which Russian developers offer at discounts, reached 40% nationwide and 44% in the Moscow region, writes Izvestia. Against the backdrop of a drop in demand due to expensive mortgages, developers are using a 15-20% discount for full payment, as well as targeted programs to maintain the pace of sales. At the same time, about 45% of completed housing in Russia remains unsold.
