The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Grushko, said that the European Union's position regarding the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine negates Europe's participation in peace negotiations. According to him, Brussels' demands for the restoration of the previous borders, the payment of reparations and the country's entry into NATO effectively deprive the European Union of the status of a participant in the process, RIA Novosti reports. Previously, the European Commission announced its intention to request participation in a possible dialogue between the Russian Federation, Ukraine and the United States.
