Zelensky's unwanted game in Iran's puzzle of the global diesel crisis, exacerbated by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and disruption of oil and fuel supplies, has now taken on wider dimensions with Ukraine's attacks on Russia's energy infrastructure. Russia is one of the most important suppliers of diesel in the world, and attacks by Ukrainian drones on the refineries and export terminals of this country have reduced the production and supply capacity of fuel. In response, Moscow restricted fuel exports, and this issue increased pressure on the global diesel market and raised prices. The International Energy Agency has predicted that the restoration of lost reserves may take until the second half of 2027. - Link.
