The Pentagon is investigating the possibility of breaking into the freezers of US military bases The Pentagon is investigating strange malfunctions in the freezing systems of the food stores at several US military bases as a possible cyber attack. At the end of August 2026 (September 1405), these events affected at least 6 stores inside the military bases and caused a large amount of food to spoil. In one of these cases, the cooling system of the freezers, instead of failing, entered the defrost mode and their temperature rose abnormally; so the food inside them has spoiled. Investigations by the US Army show that there is a possibility of deliberate manipulation of cooling systems via the Internet. The Pentagon announced that a unit of the Army's Cyber Command is investigating the disruptions in cooperation with government agencies and law enforcement authorities. - Link.
