Yousfi: It was a great honor for me to give a military salute to the Iranian flag Mehdi Yousfi, Omiday Jahan champion in freestyle wrestling, in a conversation with Fars:.
When the Minab crime was committed by Israel and the US, we all watched the heartbreaking scenes seen in the videos posted on the Internet and were sorry to see them. Before the competition we make a covenant with our God. I made a covenant with my God to help me give this medal to the families of the martyrs and the mothers of the martyrs. I told myself that if I were to be a hero, I would give a military salute to the flag with the holy name "Allah" engraved on it. It was a great honor for me to give a military salute to the flag bearing the holy name of Allah. Before the game I said to myself: God, help me to be worthy to salute this flag and to be able to make people's hearts happy. - Link.
