The unemployment rate is rising this year.
According to the National Statistics Center, the unemployment rate rose 24.7 percent among the population 15 and older this spring compared to last spring, 18.8 percent among 15- to 24-year-olds, and 20.7 percent among 18- to 35-year-olds.
