The Fed keeps interest rates unchanged.

The Fed kept the interest rate unchanged in the range of 3.75% to 4.00%, maintaining its current policy position with 10 votes for and 2 against. Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook and Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack opposed a 25 basis point rate hike. The Fed described strong economic growth, supported by robust investment, rising productivity and resilient consumer spending.
