Will there be a war or not? Former diplomat Kurosh Ahmadi wrote in Mizrah newspaper:
Will there be war or not, and if so, when and to what extent? This is a common question that has constantly occupied the mind of every Iranian, including economic activists, causing tension and indecision all around during the last 17 months. War is generally, logically and rationally avoided. Why, because the gap between the positions of the two countries is not enough to justify another destructive war. Iran has announced its "Seven Day Plan" and America has also said that it agrees with the provisions of this plan, which are fully contained in the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. Apparently, the difference is only in the order and sequence of application of these conditions and the method of performing the work. The difference is not worth it to become the basis of another war between two big countries and a regional war.
