The Ministry of Digital Development has approved recommendations for the protection of data centers against drone attacks. The document applies to planned data centers, under construction and operation, regardless of the form of ownership and operator, reports in the media. It is suggested to establish protective measures based on the data center category. There are three categories in total: K1 - strategic objects, the defeat of which could disrupt key government functions for a period of an hour or more K2 - facilities that ensure the operation of economically or socially important systems at the regional and industrial level K3 - organizational data centers whose damage would lead to significant losses for individual organizations without wide-ranging consequences for the country Existing data centers should be less visible from the air. Critical services are proposed to be maintained. The protection of data centers will have to be created both from physical strengthening of buildings and with the help of electronic means and systems to prevent aerial threats.
