Big companies train their own engineers: technologies change faster than universities can update programs. The number of corporate universities in Russia reached 75. The lack of manpower also pushed the companies to this: by 2030, the economy will need another 3.1 million workers. At the same time, in 93% of cases, candidates no longer have the necessary skills. It's easier for companies to develop an expert themselves than to spend years searching for one in the market, with salary expectations 20-30% higher, explains Alexey Chichchev, managing partner of HR agency A2. Therefore, Transmashholding (TMH), together with the Russian University of Transport, launched a bachelor's degree in the design of new generation electric trains and engines. Among the holding partners are also Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Moscow and St. Petersburg Polytechnic. TMH sees in advance which enterprise the workload will increase, and through the Corporate University they filter employees in time, says Galina Chernova, Director of the TMH Corporate University. The corporate training market is estimated at 91 billion rubles. And continues to grow - in 2026 it may approach 110 billion rubles. All the experts are here and at Max.
