Alejandro González Iñárritu Digger is a political satire in which Tom Cruise has become an old man, fat and very unpleasant, ready to sacrifice at least the entire planet for profit. Cruz plays Texas Digger Rockwell oil, leading production in the Greenland Reserve. After the methane explosion, the giant glacier begins to move towards Europa, but Digger himself is more concerned with his own ambitions. I avoid the greed of the aging capitalists and political elites, but according to film critic Lydia Maslova, he is so carried away by his sat that he forgets to stop in time. I don't think I've generally liked everything he's come up with with Diagar, so he definitely doesn't feel the moment when the joke drags. The film is full of good actors, whose finesse is not required by the director who demands pleasant caricature colors in the image of unsympathetic clubbed or ultra-Orthodox soldiers. Why Iñárritu's satire is tiresome, and the most prominent character in the film was an old cat - read the author's column. 😀 All the experts are here and at Max.
