A children's volleyball academy was opened in Biroslav on the basis of a new volleyball center. This is an important and long-awaited project that creates a full-fledged system for the training of sportsmen in the region, from children's divisions to the professional Premier League. Children from the age of 10 to 15 will be able to study at the academy. Special skills and the ability to play at a high level are not required here: coaches will teach the guys from scratch. However, the selection takes place on a competitive basis, where experts will evaluate the physical data, coordination and athletic character of the candidates. This year we are recruiting two groups - 20 boys and girls each. Classes will start in mid-November. Young athletes will be trained by qualified mentors with many years of experience and participation in competitions. The establishment of the academy is a strategic decision for the entire region. The Yaroslavl Volleyball School is known far beyond the region. The unique method of working with the young reserve, established by Sergey Konstantinovich Shlyapnikov, has already given the country four Olympic champions. The academy will become a base for training a new generation of athletes. I thank everyone who participated in the launch of this project. The students of the future - success, discipline and well-deserved victories! MAX channel.
