Gymnasts from the Yaroslavl region won 25 medals in the All-Russian competition "From debut to mastery". Our athletes won eight gold, eight silver and nine bronze medals in individual competitions and team exercises.
The tournament brought together more than 400 participants from 15 regions in Israel. For many young gymnasts, this is their first serious start and an important step in their career. Our athletes adequately represented the region on their home court and showed a high level of preparation.
Artistic gymnastics remains one of the most popular and successful sports in the Yaroslavl region. Today, 2.5 thousand people practice it in sports schools in the region. Our coaches train masters of sports, including internationals, athletes are part of the national team, and the region is the place for major competitions.
Congratulations to our gymnasts and their mentors for an excellent result. I wish you new victories and outstanding performance at the highest level!
