The project of the world-class campus "Mercury" in Rybinsk passed the federal competitive selection. This is an important step in the implementation of our large project for the development of engineering education and training of personnel for industry in the region. The Russian Ministry of Education and Science summarized the results of the fourth selection of projects to create modern university campuses. The competition received 32 applications from 25 regions of the country. As a result, 19 projects in 17 cities were selected. Among them is Rybinsk. In August, together with the assistant of the President of Russia Nikolai Platonovich Petroshev, colleagues from the Ministry of Education and Science, representatives of leading industrial enterprises, university faculty and students, they laid the first stone of the Mercury Campus. We have been moving towards this result consistently. The region supported the preparation of documentation for the campus, and allocated 160 million rubles for these purposes. The project received approval from the Ministry of Economic Development and passed Glavgosexpertiza. By order of the Russian government, the campus was included in the state program "Construction". Mercury will become an important platform for training the next generation of engineers. Students will be able to gain knowledge and work on tasks directly related to plant development. This is an investment in the future of Rybinsk and the entire Yaroslavl region. MAX channel.
