The Yaroslavl region is one of the leaders in the country in the development of unmanned aerial systems. We were one of the first to create a special research and production center for BAS. It brings together resources, talent and technology to create reliable propulsion systems. The center works in close cooperation with RSATU's P.A. Solovyov School of Advanced Engineering and its resident flagship partner, United Engine Corporation. In 2025, we received 1.5 billion rubles from the federal budget for its development. This is the first place in terms of funding and the second according to expert estimates in all regions of Russia. At the same time, we systematically train specialists so that the industry has its own engineers and developers. UAV technologies in the region are already solving everyday problems. Thanks to a modern monitoring system, for several years in a row we are among the five leaders in the Central Federal District in terms of the minimum number of forest fires. The UAVs we purchased as part of the "Unmanned Aircraft Systems" national project help monitor the forests from the air. The devices are also in demand in other fields: agriculture, construction, housing and community services, administrative supervision. And in the future, the use of unmanned technologies will only expand.
