Khorasan Petrochemical has maintained uninterrupted urea production at a level of about 52 thousand tons per month since April. This figure is higher than the monthly level of the previous year. Part of the production was not sold and went into stock. The average monthly sales increased from 1.7 metric tons in the first season to 3.5 metric tons in the second season, and soon remained at the same level with 3.4 metric tons. On the cost side, feed gas rates have more than doubled since the spring. However, the difference between sales and the cost of gas increased from about 3.2 metric tons in the first season to 7.8 metric tons in the second season and was about 2.1 metric tons in more.
