A Russian train was connected to the electricity supply system of the Alkan and Alban substations on the second Volochivka - Komsomolsk-on-Amur line in the Khabarovsk Territory. By the end of the year, railway workers plan to build another substation - Komsomolsk-Sortyrovuchny, a 342 km section connecting the BAM and the Trans-Siberian Railway. The launch of all the substations will complete the creation of an energy base for the transition of the Volochavka - Komsomolsk-on-Amur section from diesel to electric traction. Russian Railways plans to supply electricity to the communications network by the end of 2026. Energy today without VPN: max / site.
