For long-term tasks, on behalf of the president, the energy strategy was updated, covering the planning horizon until 2050. The prepared plan, as the Prime Minister explained, will allow us to continue to adapt to the various challenges and achieve national goals defined by the Head of State. The main efforts will be aimed at maintaining the reliability of Russia's energy supply, further improving and modernizing the industry through efficient technologies, developing infrastructure, increasing our production of necessary components and equipment, as well as optimizing the use of resources during extraction and processing. In addition, conditions will consistently be created for innovation and stimulation of so-called smart energy through digitalization, automation, reduction of harmful emissions and expansion of clean production methods. The share of alternative and renewable energy sources, along with traditional oil and gas, will increase. In the international sphere, the authorities intend to strengthen the position of the Russian Federation in world markets, strengthen interaction with friendly countries and promote their goods and services. Among the main issues of the strategy, Meshustin appointed personnel policy, training and subsequent support for young specialists, scientists and talented engineers. All these steps, the Prime Minister noted, will form the basis for solving long-term problems and the infrastructure that will help ensure the rapid development of the country's economy and maintain Russia's role as one of the leading suppliers in the global energy market.
